Selling your apartment or home in Brisbane QLD? Lifestyle Photos with a emotional connection

It’s more common than not when you see houses for sale on the market they are represented by generic imagery such as wide angle interior and exterior shots with fill flash. What people are missing is the lifestyle, the environment, the atmosphere, the connectivity, the ambience, the finer details and the personal features of the home.

My name is Jacob Cherry and I shoot regularly for the worlds biggest holiday rental company Air bnb and now been chosen as Brisbane's lead photographer for their latest project Airbnb Plus

I recently have photographed a number of properties in Brisbane central suburbs adjoining the CBD a quick example here was this property in Newstead with a lovely open kitchen with indoor outdoor dining. The importance of setting the scene of a idealic Qld kitchen experience seen below.

A brief walk around left a marked impression of just how beautiful and peaceful this home was and how important the building's connectivity to the outdoors was to the ambience of this stunning Queenslander.

So, rather than approaching with the mind of a real estate photographer I instead used my commercial experience to look at the home from the point of view of a lifestyle magazine feature. Shooting the finer details, capturing the true feeling and ambience of the environment. playing on the critical elements of: design, textures, decor, leading lines, natural light, connecting spaces and colours.

As seen here below a classic example of setting the mood of a Bedroom in this beautiful old home with just 3 photos

As you can see Photos sell properties creating a emotional attachment to a home. This is generally a huge decision for anyone buying a property and every advantage you as a seller have is a a bonus.
